Tahir Khanzada - Asia

Tahir has a degree in Electrical Engineering. He started his refereeing career as a Marker in Pakistan in 1998,  initially officiating local junior and senior championships and became a National Referee in the year 2000.

In 2003 he was selected by Pakistan Squash Federation to represent Pakistan at the World Men’s Team Championship 2003 in Vienna, Austria. In 2004, he became  a WSF Referee, and has since officiated at many competitions including:

  • 3 Commonwealth Games
  • 3 Asian Games
  • 3 South Asian Games
  • 2 South East Asian Games and East Asian Games
  • WSF senior Men’s/Women’s Championships
  • PSA World Series events including US Open, World Tour Finals, El Gouna, Egyptian Open, Qatar Classic, Hong Kong Open, Kuwait Open

Currently he is the Director of Referees for the Asian Squash Federation and Vice President of the Pakistan Squash Federation, focusing on training and promoting talented referees in Pakistan and Asia.
